Obituary: Emily Cassiere, 93

Emily Cassiere, 93, of Cranston passed away peacefully February 8, 2016 at home. She was the beloved wife for 74 years of Louis A. Cassiere.

Born in Cranston a daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Almeida) Souza. Emily was the beloved mother of Anthony L. Cassiere and the late Emrelinda Hartley. Loving grandmother of Michele, Alisa and Anthony and the late Michael Carroccio.

Loving great grandmother of Robert, Anthony III and Reyna. She was the sister of the late Manuel and John Souza, Mary Jessie, Evangela Silva, Irene Main, Margaret Baglini, Laura Jennings and Ann Padien. Relatives and friends are invited to attend

Her Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 10 a. m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Entombment will follow in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum, St. Ann’s Cemetery. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
