Obituary: Patricia L. Schortmann, 71

Patricia L. Schortmann, R.N., 71. of Cranston passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Philip Hulitar Home & Hospice Care InPatient Center, Providence. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Samuel and Helen (Brooks) Nolette.

Patricia was a Registered Nurse in Rhode Island and Maine. She leaves two sons; James Chapman, Jeffrey Chapman and his wife Laurie Chapman, one daughter, Joanne Carl and was the mother of the late Francis Chapman. She was the sister of James Nolette, Norma Nolette and the late Joseph Nolette and Penny Landry.

Loving grandmother of six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She also leaves numerous nieces and nephews.

Her funeral and burial are private. VISITATION Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. at “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the RI Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals 186 Amaral Street, Riverside, RI 02915.
