CRANSTON, RI — The following people were arrested by Cranston police between Nov. 1 and Nov. 7.
Nov. 1
12:59 p.m. — Tiara Sempritt, 23, of Cranston, was charged with domestic simple assault on a warrant out of the Providence Police Department.

2:02 p.m. — Robert Assad, 46, of Providence, was charged with false reporting of a crime on a Cranston police warrant, after Providence police arrested him.
6:45 p.m. — Frederick Gibson, 49, of Cranston, was charged with sexual offender address change.

Nov. 2
11:46 a.m. — Jonathan Smith, 26, of Cranston, was charged with shoplifting and four outstanding bench warrants out of Rhode Island Superior Court. Police said the arrest happened after a call for service to the Stop & Shop on Garfield Avenue.
Nov. 3
1:29 p.m. — John Fargnoli, 53, of Cranston, was charged with domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.
Nov. 5
6:58 p.m. — Bruce Peavy, 70, of Cranston, was charged with sexual offender registration required.
Nov. 6
Christopher Conti, 32, of Cranston, was charged with domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.
Nov. 7
9:57 a.m. — Jesus Nieves, 43, of Providence, was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle/parts and obtaining money under false pretenses. Police said the arrest happened after Nieves turned himself in.
1:49 p.m. — Keith Boisvert, 38, of no particular address, was charged with felony shoplifting and a bench warrant out of Third District Court. Police said the arrest happened after a report of shoplifting at Bob's Store on Oaklawn Avenue.
5:08 p.m. — Janay Wilcox, 36, of Providence, was charged with felony shoplifting. Police said the arrest came after a report of shoplifting at the Stop & Shop on Garfield Avenue.
