Colon was arrested in mid-November by Cranston police as he walked out the Motel 6 on Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick, capping their investigation into his alleged one-man crime wave over a period of two months.

Police said Colon broke into a house and stole a car on Beckwith Street in September, later abandoning the car in Providence. He then committed the knifepoint robbery before breaking into a Reservoir Avenue house five days later on Nov. 11, police said.
