Drug Overdoses Kill 2 RI Brothers
Three men overdosed, but one is expected to survive. Police said the men are from East Greenwich, North Kingstown and Coventry.
EAST GREENWICH, RI — Two Rhode Island brothers died Sunday after overdosing on drugs, East Greenwich police said.
Around 9:45 p.m., police and fire officials were called to a home on Carrs Pond Road for a report of several drug overdoses.
Police said when officers arrived, they found a man in his 20s unresponsive and two other men conscious and speaking. Emergency officials immediately took life-saving measures, including administering several doses of Narcan and performing CPR.

While treating the unresponsive man, the other two became unconscious, police said. Additional paramedics were called to the scene and began treating all three men. Emergency officials took the men to Kent County Memorial Hospital in Warwick.
Police said the two brothers were pronounced dead at the hospital. The third man is expected to survive.
