• Former Cranston mayoral candidate arrested on DUI charge (wpri.com) — Police in East Greenwich charged a Cranston political figure with misdemeanor DUI after stopping her just after midnight on Division Road, according to bodycam footage and a police report. Officers said they observed swerving, noted signs of intoxication, and recorded her disputing the sobriety test and referencing political connections. She was released on personal recognizance and is due in court in early January.
