RI Veterans Day Observances Monday

NEWPORT, RI—Rhode Islanders are observing Veterans Day over the three day holiday weekend. Here are a few of the events set for Monday. They include wreath-laying ceremonies and a parade.

North Kingstown, 9:30 a.m., Civil War Memorial, 80 Boston Neck Road, wreath-laying.

North Kingstown, 10 a.m., Wilson Park, Parade.

Newport, 11 a.m. Newport City Hall, 43 Broadway, outside.

Miantonomi Park Tower, 1 to 3:30 p.m., Admiral Kalbfus Road and Hillside Avenue. The tower is open.
