Assaults, DUI, Warrant Arrests Reported by EP Police

The following information was provided by the East Providence Police Department. Where an arrest is noted, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

The East Providence Police Department reported the following recent arrests:

  • John Cabral, 26, of 156 Wilmarth Ave., on felony charges of violating a no-contact order, third offense, and domestic assault, third offense, on Apr. 16 at about 6:30 pm. He was remanded to the Adult Correctional Institutions, Cranston, and is scheduled for a felony hearing on June 19.
  • John Amaral, 20, of 52 Eighth St., on a charge of domestic assault on Apr. 17 at about 10 pm. Police reports indicate a caller told officers that Amaral had hit his mother and father. He was released on personal recognizance until a May 1 pre-trial hearing in Sixth District Court, Warwick, and a no-contact order was issued.
  • Bobby Felicio, 32, of 57 Ide Ave., on a charge of driving with a suspended license following an accident at Pawtucket and Waterman Avenues on Apr. 18 at about 4 pm.
  • Daniel Joseph, 25, of 43 Luther St., Seekonk, MA, on a charge of shoplifting at Marshall's on Pawtucket Avenue on Apr. 19 at about 5:45 pm.
  • Lawrence Aubin, 48, of 172 High St., Bristol, on a warrant issued by Sixth District Court, on Apr. 19 at the Mobil on the Run on Wampanoag Trail. According to online court records, Aubin failed to appear at a Feb. 11 sentencing hearing on a charge of driving with a suspended license brought by Portsmouth Police. On Apr. 22, Warren Police arrested Aubin on charges of driving with a suspended license and eluding police; he was remanded to the Adult Correctional Institutions on the Portsmouth charge, and is scheduled to appear at an arraignment on the Warren charges today.
