East Providence Dog Owners Must Renew Licenses This Month

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — Dog owners in East Providence have until the end of the month to renew their dog's license and ensure rabies vaccinations are up-to-date.

All dog owners are required to renew their pet's license by the end of April each year. The price for the license depends on whether a dog is spayed or neutered. There's also a senior discount.

License prices can be found below:

• Spay/neutered (must show proof): $13
• Intact dogs: $33
• Licenses for residents 65 and older are $15 regardless of spay/neuter status.

Rabies vaccinations must be current to get a license.
