'It's The Unknown That Kills Me': RI Woman's Stolen Dog Remains Missing
Two stolen cars associated with Casanova's theft were found in Clinton, Connecticut, and in the New York City area.
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — Angel Santos, of East Providence, has had her dog Casanova since he was eight weeks old. The 9-year-old Yorkshire Terrier comforted her through back surgery and many other hardships, and to Santos, Casanova is her son. But Casanova has been missing for almost two months now.
On Oct. 24, Santos was out getting lunch at 54 Southern Café in Pawtucket. She said she had her eyes on her car the entire time, when someone stole it, with Casanova still inside.
The stolen car was later found in Clinton, Connecticut, but Casanova wasn't inside. And more than a month later, Santos is still looking for answers to bring her canine best friend home.

"He hasn't had his medication since October," Santos said. "Not knowing if he's alive, not knowing if he's being taken care of, is just breaking my heart."
Since Casanova went missing, police ran fingerprints on the stolen car. Another stolen car associated with the theft was found in the New York City area, but there hasn't been any new information since.
