John P. Cinq-Mars, 81, Retired Ballou Company Worker

His calling hours are today and his funeral is Saturday at the Perry-McStay Funeral Home in East Providence.

John P. Cinq-Mars, of Silver Spring Avenue, East Providence, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013 at his home.  He was 81.

He was the husband of the late Shirley A. (Hunter) Cinq-Mars. He was born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Wilfred and Alicia (Gregoire) Cinq-Mars.  

Cinq-Mars worked for the B.A. Ballou Company in East Providence before retiring.  He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

He leaves one daughter, Sandra J. Armenti, three sons, John P., Kevin M. and Craig A. Cinq-Mars, two sisters, Jeannette Breault and Aline Cinq-Mars, three brothers, Arthur, Omer and Ernest Cinq-Mars and one granddaughter.  He was the brother of the late Emma Raiche, Lucille Thibault and Robert Cinq-Mars.

His funeral service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21, at 10 am in the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
