Learn About Recreation Center, 'Obamacare', Special Education in E.P.

The East Providence Recreation Center hosts an open house on Wednesday, Sept. 25, from 4 to 6 pm at the facility at 100 Bullocks Point Ave. Get acquainted with the facility and its many fall programs.

The East Providence Area Chamber of Commerce holds its monthly Business During Hours lunchtime networking event on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at B. Pinelli’s restaurant, 736 North Broadway. It runs from noon to 1:30 pm. Register for the event by noon today. 

The Local Advisory Committee for Special Education holds this school year's first meeting on Wednesday, Sept 25, at 7 pm in the Martin Middle School Library with new public personnel director Eileen Crudele a special guest.

The East Providence Area Chamber of Commerc;, Health Source RI,the state’s health insurance exchang;, the US Small Business Administration and the Health Insurance Small Employer Taskforce host a special free seminar on “Obamacare” on Thursday, Sept. 26, at 6 pm in the Riverside branch library, 475 Bullocks Point Ave. Click here for information about the health exchange.
