Man Admits To 7 Home Burglaries: East Providence Police

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — East Providence police arrested a man Thursday, they said, was responsible for a string of burglaries in the Riverside section of the city.

Terrence Madden, 59, was charged with three counts of breaking and entering a dwelling house without consent, three counts of burglary, two counts of attempted breaking and entering, and larceny under $1,500.

Madden was held without bail at his arraignment Friday morning. Police said Madden also violated his probation on previous breaking and entering charges.
