Need Books?

The Friends of East Providence Public Library sell thousands of books at their Fall and Spring Book Sales and Books By the Bag Sales. In the weeks following the sales, they make unsold books available to organizations that can use them. After past sales, books have been donated to Amos House, East Providence Parks & Recreation, East Providence Senior Center, Inclusion Family Center, Miriam Hospital, Providence Books Through Bars, Rhode Island Hospital, Rhode Island Philharmonic Music School, RI Veteran’s Hospital, and the Urban Collaborative Accelerated Program, as well as to a number of Little Libraries in the city.

If you are affiliated with an organization that could benefit from a donation of gently used books or an individual who hosts a Little Library, please contact the Friends to be placed on their list of organizations requesting donations. Email gonewalkin@cox.net or call 401-742-2751 to make arrangements for pickup.
