The Providence Singers, an 80-voice concert choir that performs with the Rhode Island Philharmonic and other area ensembles, started their 55th season in early September. The choir is actively seeking experienced choral singers to fill several openings in the tenor section.

The choir draws members from all over Rhode Island, with a few members from Massachusetts and Connecticut. The membership includes professional singers, music teachers, and music students, but most are people who love choral singing.
