RI Man Wanted Out Of NC Arrested In East Providence

East Providence police say London Clyde, 45, of providence, was wanted on a felony assault charge out of North Carolina.

London Clyde, 45, was charged with being a fugitive from justice in Rhode Island. The charges he was wanted on out of North Carolina were aggravated assault with a firearm and the sale or delivery of a controlled substance.

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — East Providence police on Wednesday arrested a Providence man they said was wanted out of North Carolina for a felony assault.

London Clyde, 45, was charged with being a fugitive from justice in Rhode Island. The charges he was wanted on out of North Carolina were aggravated assault with a firearm and the sale or delivery of a controlled substance.

Police said Clyde was taken into custody at the Rumford Motor Inn on Newport Avenue in East Providence.
