Russell A. Willhoite, 50, Fogarty Center Assembler
His Mass of Christian Burial is today in St. Thomas Church, Providence.

Russell A. Willhoite, of Angell Road, died peacefully on September 3, 2013 surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was 50.
Born in Jacksonville, FL, he was a son of Barbara J. (Norberg) Willhoite of North Providence and the late Richard P. Willhoite. He was an assembler at the John E. Fogarty Center, Providence, for the past 30 years.
Russell loved to volunteer for the Access Boat at the Waterfire events in Providence for the past several years. A sports enthusiast, he was a devoted Boston Red Sox fan who really enjoyed going to Fenway to see them. He had champagne taste with a beer budget. He enjoyed going to the beaches and swimming in the ocean on Cape Cod, MA.
The family wishes to offer a special thanks to Beacon Hospice for all of their care and compassion.
Besides his mother, he is survived by a brother; Steven Willhoite of Smithfield, a sister; Susanne Burns and her husband Patrick of Fall River, MA and two nephews; Tommy and Brad Archambault.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial today, September 6, in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave, Providence at 11:30 am. Burial will be private. Arrangements are by the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home in Riverside.
