Student Stabbed At East Providence High School: Report

East Providence police say a student was hospitalized and has serious injuries after another student stabbed them. One arrest has been made.

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — East Providence High School was placed under lockdown after a stabbing on Thursday, according to police.

Police told WPRI 12 a student was hospitalized and had serious injuries after another student stabbed them. A student has been arrested.

City officials said more information will be released in a Thursday afternoon news conference.
