Friday, Apr. 19:
- All day: Registration for Brendan Whittet Hockey Camp at Brown University. The camp, led by the Brown Men's Hockey Coach, is scheduled for August 20 to 24. $225 per player; discounts available for siblings.
- 6:30 pm: Parent-Child Book Club at Seekonk Library.
- 8 pm: Brian Beaudoin takes the stage at The Comedy Connection. Named Best Comic in Rhode Island for 2009 and 2010. $15.
- 10:30 pm: Hardcore Comedy at The Comedy Connection. Don't say you didn't get fair warning. $15.

- 9 am: Earth Day Recycling Event at the East Bay Chamber of Commerce, Child Street in Warren. Accepting unwanted electronics, mechanical items and boxes of documents to be shredded. $2 per box donation requested for documents. Limit 4 boxes.
- 9 am: Day of Service at Hunts Mills in Rumford. The Ten Mile Watershed Council and the East Providence Conservation Commission at Hunts Mills lead a day of cleaning up and beautification. Free. Please bring brush- and plant-removal tools.
- 10 am: Story Time at Weaver Library. For ages 2 to 6 years old.
- 9 pm: Karaoke at American Legion Post #10 in Riverside. Step up to the mic and sing your heart out. Free.
