• Hopkinton Town Council unanimously approves PFAS grant application (thewesterlysun.com) — Hopkinton’s Town Council has unanimously approved applying for a state health grant to tackle PFAS “forever chemicals” and other contaminants in local wells, including at the Crandall House. Working with Northeast Water Solutions and RIDOH, the town may pursue filtration systems or well replacements so residents aren’t stuck with rising testing and treatment costs as Rhode Island tightens drinking water standards.
