2 Johnston High School Students Arrested After Assault On Officer: PD
Johnston police say a school resource officer was assaulted during an incident with two high school students on Thursday morning.
JOHNSTON, RI — Two Johnston High School students were arrested Thursday after an assault on a school resource officer, according to the town's police department.
Police told NBC 10 the two students were arrested around 10 a.m. One student was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, while the other was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct.
Police told WPRI 12 neither the officer nor the students involved in the assault were injured.
