Apartment Complex Fire Displaces Residents Of 36 Units: Reports
Even units that did not suffer fire damage were affected, as the flames cut ff power to the entire apartment building.
JOHNSTON, RI — Residents at 36 apartment unit at the Bainbridge Apartment in Johnston were displaced Monday morning after a building at the complex reportedly caught fire.
Johnston Fire Chief David Lannuccilli told WPRI 12 that 18 apartments were affected in the fire. Not all units were damaged by flames on Simmonsville Avenue, but power was cut to the entire building and also affected apartments in the building next door.
Fire officials told NBC 10 News all residents made it out of the building safely.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
