Hazardous Weather Outlook For RI: Wind, Possibility Of Downed Trees
The National Weather Service says wind gusts could hit 40 mph overnight into Monday morning, bringing the chance of downed trees.

JOHNSTON, RI—Gusts up to 40 mph could toppled some tree limbs overnight into Monday morning, according to the National Weather Service. A cold front is also forecast. Monday night, the temperatures are expected to drop, so a frost or freeze warning for plants is a possibility. Here is the information.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Northeast Connecticut, Central,
Eastern, and Southeastern Massachusetts, and all of Rhode Island.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Westerly wind gusts of around 30 to 35 mph, as high as 40 mph, are
forecast as a cold front sweeps the region overnight into Monday
morning. With these winds there is the possibility of downed tree
limbs and isolated power outages possible.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
Monday Night into Tuesday Morning...
Aside from NW Massachusetts where the growing season has concluded,
frost and/or freeze headlines are likely given forecast temperatures
around the low to mid 30s.
