Johnston Child Pornography Possessor Arrested: Cops

JOHNSTON, RI — A Johnston man was charged with possessing child pornography, police said.

Stephen Silva, 30, was arrested Friday by the Rhode Island State Police Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, the state police said in a media release.

Silva was processed, arraigned and released on his own recognizance, according to the release.
