Johnston Coronavirus Clinic Rescheduled To Thursday

Monday's COVID-19 vaccine clinic at the Johnston Indoor recreation center was postponed because of Tropical Storm Henri.

JOHNSTON, RI — Johnston re-scheduled its COVID-19 vaccination clinic Mnday at the Indoor Recreation Center, because of Tropical Storm Henri.

The clinic was originally scheduled for 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., and will instead be at the same time Thursday, Aug. 26.

This clinic is for those between the ages of 12 and 18, or for people looking to acquire a booster shot. The clinic will offer the first, second, and third doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. The third dose is for those people who have been fully vaccinated for eight months or longer.

Those registering to receive a third dose must have a medical condition that causes moderate to severe immunosuppression.
