Johnston Police To Increase Patrols For Halloween

JOHNSTON, RI — Officers of the Johnston Police Department will be increasing patrols this Halloween to help ensure the safety of young trick-or-treaters. They are also arming themselves with lots of candy "to enforce all treats and no tricks."

"So when you're out trick or treating this year and you see a Johnston Police Officer patrolling your neighborhood, make sure you trick or treat a cop for a guaranteed treat," the Police Department stated.
