Michael C. "Mikey Pistol" Di Fazio

A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Thursday at 9 am at St. Rocco Church in Johnston.

Michael C. "Mikey Pistol" Di Fazio, 72, of North Scituate, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 8, 2012, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of 46 years to Carolyn A. (Rambone) DiFazio.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Michael DiFazio. Michael was a self employed farmer and greenhouse grower. He was the former owner of Mike’s Vegetable Stand in Cranston. He was a former member of the Providence Cranston Elks. Michael was an avid hunter, he loved the land and animals.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children Chris M. DiFazio of North Scituate; and Michael A. DiFazio and Anthony A. DiFazio of Cranston. He was the cherished grandfather of Miranda Rose Glennon of Scituate, and Michael O. DiFazio of Cranston. Michael was the brother of Elaine Masi of Smithfield, Janice Sheehan of Coventry, and Elizabeth Warner of Johnston.

Funeral from theNardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday at 9 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in , 927 Atwood Ave., Johnston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting Hours: Wednesday 5 to 8 pm.
