The aerial inspects complete the ground-level inspections of National Grid's transmission system across more rugged and isolated terrain. The inspections are looking for signs of wear on the lines, condition of lightning-protections devices, leaning or damaged structures, loose or broken wires, broken or chipped insulator equipment and trees leaning toward power lines or into transmission corridors.
Those with questions are invited to contact National Grid.
