Obituary: Ernest Mallane, 87

Ernest Mallane, 87, of Johnston, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2015. He was the husband of the late Vera (Cambio) Mallane. Born in Johnston, he was a son of the late Tony and Alma (Ventetuolo) Mallane. Ernest was an Army Veteran serving during WWII.

He is survived by his two sons; Richard Mallane of East Providence and Robert Mallane of Johnston. Ernest was the grandfather of two. He was the brother of Viola Pezza, Edward Mallane, and the late Angelo, Tony, Charlie and Louise Mallane.

His funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas Church, Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence at 10 a.m. Burial, with Military Honors, will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Monday from 5-8 p.m.
