ProJo: Apparent Baseball Bat Attack Under Investigation by JPD

Maj. Michael Collucci told the newspaper that the attack happened during a party at around 2 am Saturday morning at 101 Borden Ave.

The victim had been transported to Rhode Island Hospital, and the alleged attacker had fled the scene, by the time officer arrived, according to the online report.
Unidentified neighbors told the newspaper that the victim had been struck with a baseball bat, the Journal noted.
