• Car crashes into fuel pump at Johnston gas station (wpri.com) — A car struck a fuel pump at the RoadRunners gas station on Hartford Avenue in Johnston Friday afternoon, briefly sparking a fire but causing no injuries. Investigators say the driver appears to have accidentally accelerated while repositioning at the pump, and firefighters quickly put out the flames. Police have not filed any criminal charges so far.
