The 2012 East Regional Tournament is shaping up the for the Johnston Junior Little League team — they face an undefeated opponent, and must win both sides of a double-header to advance to the World Series.
Following Wednesday's 9-6 victory in the 4 pm contest over Dunbar, PA, and 13-7 nightcap win over Tolland, CT that wrapped at 10:09 pm, the Rhode Island squad is scheduled to play at 11 am Thursday against unbeaten Franklin Square, NY.

Should Johnston win the first game, it would force a second match-up at 2 pm to decide the East Region title.
