My name is Dennis Cardillo Jr. and I am running for State Representative in Johnston District 42 - Democrat. My family has been in Johnston for five generations and I am looking to continue that support along with my wife Jacky and baby Marco.
A little bit about myself - I hold a bachelors in business from the University of Rhode Island, I am lean MGMT/Six Sigma Certified, hold a certification in Project MGMT, and OSHA 30 certified. I currently supervise the production/manufacturing for Pepsi locally in Cranston and I have previously co-founded a small auto sales locally in Johnston as well.
For the past 14 years I have had a balance on business and politics in my background. I have previously assisted Congressman Langevin’s campaign alongside my lifelong friend Dan Larson(Langevin’s former chauffeur and right hand man). I have campaigned for Mayor Polisena in the last few elections and I am actively involved in the community.

My wife Jacky Cardillo is a financial analyst and has a political background as well being the grand-daughter of a congressman and diplomat in Peru. Together we are looking to meet all the individuals in the community as we personally go door to door to every house regardless of voter status.
I believe that I can help restore trust back to the Democratic Party with my background, knowledge, and expertise as I can bring a fresh point of view to the Town of Johnston.
