Veterans Day falls on a Saturday in 2017, so some observances are happening Friday. State offices close Monday.

Nov. 11 is Veterans Day, when we honor men and women who have served in the military. This year, it falls on a Saturday. So, many communities are observing the holiday on Friday, while the federal government observes Veterans Day on Saturday. Here's a quick round-up of what's closed and open.
