Video: Dan Mazzulla Honored
The longtime coach of the Lady Panthers announced his retirement on Feb. 11.
This video shows scenes from halftime at the Lady Panthers' game on Feb. 11 against Central Falls, where Coach Dan Mazzulla was honored after announcing he'll step down at the end of this season.

Assistant Coach Chris Corsinetti and senior captain Alaina DeNoncour, who shares the honor with Mazzulla of being among Johnston High's 1,000-point scorers, present the coach with a plaque; later, Gianna Mazzulla embraces her dad as "Take Me Home, Country Roads" by John Denver plays over the P.A., in honor of Dan's son, who currently plays for the University of West Virginia.

Finally, the coach says a few emotional words as he thanks his current team and the past members of the Lady Panthers who attended Friday night's game.
The current squad also honored their coach with a hard-fought win over Central Falls, 50-33.
