Vincent Frank Mancuso Sr.

A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Friday at 10 am at St. Brigid Church in Johnston.

 

Vincent Frank Mancuso Sr., 83, of Tiogue Ave., West Warwick and formerly of Cranston passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at the Miriam Hospital. He was the husband of the late Dolores (Ribasi) Mancuso.

He was born in Cranston, a son of the late John and Elvira (Martellucci) Mancuso.

Mr. Mancuso was employed by the City of Cranston Recreation Department for 11 years until his retirement. He also was employed part time at the Warwick Mall in the Security Department for 27 years. He was a longtime Associate of the Edgewood Eagles.

He is survived by his children, Doreen McKnight of Cranston, John Mancuso of Bristol and Vincent F. Mancuso Jr. of Coventry. He also leaves behind four grandchildren and was the brother of Kenneth Mancuso of Cranston and the late John Mancuso, Anthony Mancuso, Vilma Gallucci and Frances Flynn.

His funeral will be held Friday at 9 am from the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in , 1231 Plainfield St., Johnston, at 10 am.

Visiting Hours: Thursday from 4 to 8 pm. Interment will take place in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bishop Hendricken Scholarship Fund, 2615 Warwick Ave., Warwick, RI 02889.
