• 3 charged after man robbed at knifepoint in Twin River hotel room (wpri.com) — A man was robbed at knifepoint inside a hotel room at Bally’s Twin River Casino in Lincoln, where police say he was lured from the gaming floor and threatened for $1,500 in cash. Officers quickly identified and arrested three Massachusetts suspects, who now face first-degree robbery, conspiracy, and related charges. No injuries were reported, and the investigation is ongoing.
   

• Rhode Islanders donate 7,067 gifts through BankRI's Holiday Giving Tree (pbn.com) — Lincoln’s BankRI branch helped brighten the holidays by collecting 537 gifts for the town’s Holiday Basket Program, part of more than 7,000 gifts donated statewide through BankRI’s Holiday Giving Tree. Residents selected wish-list ornaments from branch trees and returned wrapped presents, which local nonprofits then distributed to children across Rhode Island.
