Wayne Stanley Lindsey, 5o, of Blackstone, Mass., was stopped on West Main Road at the Taco Bell at 5:46 p.m. He was taken into custody on two outstanding bench warrants and cited for Driving after his license was denied, revoked or suspended, first offense.

May 27

Alan B. Sloman, 44, of Newport, was charged at 11:20 a.m. with Trespassing at the Ocean State Laundry on West Main Road.

May 26

Anastaysia Gomes, 18, of Middletown, was arrested at 4:22 p.m. at her home. She was charged with Domestic Simple Assault or Battery. Police allege a fight started when Gomes refused to do chores and remove her nose ring.

Olimpio DeMoura, 55, of Stoneham, Mass., was stopped at 9:44 p.m. on Valley Road near Chestnut Hill Road. He was charged with Driving under the influence, first offense; and cited for Refusal to submit to a chemical test.

Beatric C. Schultz, 64, of Portsmouth, was stopped on East Main Road near Sarge's at 1:02 a.m. She was charged with Driving under the influence, first offense.
