MPD: Felony Domestic Protective Order, Simple Assault
The following arrests were reported by the Middletown Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
- Guy Cloutier, 38, of 5A Doctor Marcus Weaton Blvd., Newport, was arrested on Wednesday March 27 around 9:25 p.m. on a felony third offense domestic protective order with a 26-year-old Middletown woman and a felony affidavit warrant for assault with a deadly weapon or firearm out of Foster. Police said he was pulled over for speeding and failure to use a signal on Forest Avenue. He was also cited with speeding, presence of alcohol beverage while operating the vehicle and turn signal required.
- Melanie Annicelli, 54, of 195 Admiral Kalbfus Rd, Newport, was arrested on Wednesday March 27 around 10:41 a.m. on charges of simple assault. Annicelli allegedly put a 23-year-old Portsmouth woman into a choke hold and said she “should just kill her.”
