5 THINGS: A Horse Show, and Summer’s End
There are plenty of activities for a Sunday!

Here are the (more than) Five Things for Sunday, September 16, 2012:
Free horse show! There is an A-rated horse show at the Smithbridge Stable on Curtis Corner Road at 7 a.m. For more info, click .
Summer’s over, womp womp – Make it go out with a bang. The 10th annual Summer End’s Festival starts at noon, lasting until 5 p.m., at Narragansett Town Beach. Admission is free, but parking is $5 in town lots. Food trucks, kite flying demonstrations and music will be on display, and beer and wine will be available.

Market stuff! The Fisherman’s Memorial State Park is at 9 a.m. The General Stanton Inn in Charlestown is at 8 a.m.
DANGER WILL ROBINSON! Starting this week, we’re going to be phasing out the adding of new calendar events by our staff. This means that if you’re from a group or organization, you’ll have to start doing them yourself. It’s pretty simple, though! While logged into your Patch account, just go here. Adding your event ensures it’ll show up in searches, and be eligible for me to give it shout-outs in Five Things.
