Live Music and Dancing at The Towers: There will be live music and dancing at 7 p.m. tonight and every Thursday at The Towers in Narragansett this summer. All ages are welcome! Tonight's musical act is Roger Ceresi and his All Starz’s eight-piece band, who play R&B, rock ‘n’ roll for the soul and swing music during their classic Big Band performance. Tickets are $15 per person and may be purchased at the door.

RX Drop Box: Narragansett residents looking to dispose of excess and expired prescriptions and over-the-counter medications can now deposit them, no questions asked, in a permanent, secure drop box located in the lobby of the Narragansett Police Department at 40 Caswell Street. The Narragansett Prevention Partnership purchased the new MedReturn Drug Collection Unit in partnership with the Narragansett Police Department. The collection site is available 24/7. Needles and liquids are not allowed.

Be a Sports Blogger! Are you crazy about Narragansett and/or South Kingstown sports? Gansett-SK Patch is looking for bloggers for the fall sports season, whether it be youth, high school, college or professional. If you're interested, or know a player, coach or parent who might be, have them send an email to lauren.costa@patch.com, or simply click here for all of the details and instructions!

    Social Media Streamlining:
To make things a bit neater and more organized, we're in the process of merging the Narragansett and South Kingstown Patch Facebook pages since the two towns have shared a site for well over a year now. If you "like" our Narragansett Facebook page and haven't done so already, please do the same for South Kingstown Patch ASAP, as the former will be removed completely once the two are merged.
