I have been actively involved in Charlestownfor the 44 years I have lived here. I have served on the Charlestown Town Council 1982 to 1984 and 2004 to 2006. I was also elected to the Charlestown Charter commission.

I have served as president of Cross Mills Library, the Cross Mills Ladies Fire Auxiliary and as Presidentof the Chariho Business and Professional Women, and Rhode Island Business and Professional Women. I have also been appointed to the Board of Regents for Elementary and Secondary Education.
