Firefighters Want You To Avoid Scam
According to the president of the South Kingstown Firefighters Relief Association, there is a phone scammer impersonating their organization.

To the editor,
It has come to the attention of the South Kingstown Firefighters Relief Association, a 501 C3 charity, that there is an organization or company falsely claiming to be conducting a fundraising solicitation by phone on behalf of the South Kingstown firefighters relief association.
This is especially concerning to us as we are about to conduct our own fundraiser solicitation beginning today.

The South Kingstown Firefighters Relief Association's fundraiser will be conducted by mail through the United States Postal Service only and will be mailed only to residents of South Kingstown! There will be no other forms of solicitation for this fundraiser!
Anyone having contact with an organization or company claiming to be raising funds for the South Kingstown Firefighters Relief Association over the phone should treat such a phone call as a scam.
