Fireside Froyo Now Open at South County Commons

By Elizabeth Berman, Southern RI Chamber of Commerce

Fireside Froyo, now located in The Village at South County Commons, recently celebrated its opening with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony hosted by Southern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce.

Owners Marc Cabana (who comes from a 17-year pharmaceutical career) and Heather Sheehan (a South Kingstown High School math teacher) had always dreamed of opening a yogurt shop with a twist.

They’ve succeeded with this comfortable, welcoming space that soothes the soul with a combination of deep brown, super comfy arm chairs and a love seat (good enough for a quick nap) that are set around the room’s focal point ─ a gas-powered fireplace. An ample number of tables for three fill this atmosphere of warm earth toned tiles, flooring, and walls. Photographs of local landmarks taken by South Kingstown High School students bring the walls to life, a flat screen television adds interest to the welcoming space, and Wi-Fi is available for those seeking a relaxed atmosphere to do some work while enjoying a treat.
