Five Things: Council Work Session, Food Trucks and More

Good Morning! Here are five things you should know about for Wednesday, June 26, 2013.

 

Gansett Council Meeting: The Narragansett Town Council will meet from 7-9 p.m. tonight at Town Hall (25 Fifth Ave.), for a Work Session with Deepwater Wind regarding the first off-shore wind power facility project in the U.S. and its connection to Narragansett. Big Apple Circus: How about starting the kids' summer vacation off with a trip to the Big Apple Circus? In its 35th season, the Circus, held at Ninigret Park (4890 Old Post Rd., Charlestown), features clowns, horses, aerialists, jugglers, acrobats, a contortionist and more! There are two showtimes to choose from today, June 26, 12-2 p.m. or 7-9 p.m. Click here for more information!

20/40 Networking: The Southern RI, East Greenwich, and North Kingstown Chambers of Commerce invite young professionals, ages 20 to 40, and the young at heart, to the 20/40 Young Professionals Networking Group event tomorrow, June 27, from 5:30-7 p.m. at 1149 Restaurant (1149 Division St.,East Greenwich). Sun, Surf and Food Trucks: Stop by Narragansett Town Beach tonight between 6 and 10 p.m. to check out all there is to offer from a variety of local food trucks! Vendors include: Eddie's BBQ, Go-Spresso, Pizza by Fire, Roxy's Lobster, Shuckin Truck and Blue Lobster. Enjoy!
