Five Things, July 25: Health Benefits Forum, Christmas in July and More
Today is Thursday, July 25, 2013 and here are five things you should know about.

HealthSource RI Benefit Forum - TONIGHT: Are you concerned about affordable quality health insurance options? If so, consider attending an important conversation about HealthSource RI, Rhode Island’s health benefits exchange, a one-stop place for Rhode Islanders to find, compare and purchase affordable health insurance plans. HealthSource RI will also enable qualifying individuals and families to receive tax credits to help pay for insurance, and will connect Rhode Islanders who qualify to low-cost or no-cost insurance options. Join HealthSource RI's Tricia Leddy from 7-8 p.m. tonight at the South County YMCA (165 Broad Rock Rd., Wakefield) to participate.
Xmas in July at South County Commons: Celebrate Christmas in July with Santa, the Ocean State Waves baseball team and a mobile art studio from 6-8 p.m. tonight at the Village at South County Commons (50 S. County Commons Way, SK). In addition, enjoy musical entertainment provided by the Becky Chase Band, playing roots-folk/rock that hits with a gritty, earthy edge. Guests are asked to please bring a new, unwrapped toy to benefit a child in the upcoming Toys for Tots campaign supported by the U.S. Marine Corps.
Energy Focus Group Wanted: The URI Outreach Center, in partnership with the State of RI Office of Energy Resources, will be conducting a series of focus groups to help update the RIEnergy.org website. The groups will meet at the URI Multicultural Center on Thursday, Aug. 1, from 2-3:30 p.m. or from 4-5:30 p.m. Refreshments will be provided for participants. Click here to register for either session by Monday, July 29. If you have questions, contact Michael Giles at michael_giles@my.uri.edu or call 401-874-4524.
