Katherine A. Tucker, 79, of Wakefield, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2013. Born in Wakefield, she was a daughter of the late Mark R. and Mary E. (Kelly) Tucker.
Ms. Tucker received a degree from Kent County Hospital School of X-Ray Technology before working as a Registered X-Ray Technician at Kent County Hospital and at South County Hospital. Later she worked as a medial secretary for Dr. John J. Walsh until her retirement.
She is survived by two brothers, Stephen A. Tucker and Tommy N. Tucker, both of Wakefield; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High Street, Wakefield. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
