Outdoor Water Restrictions:Â Thanks to the massive heat wave sweeping across the country - and Rhode Island's south shore - both Narragansett and South Kingstown have enacted restrictions on outdoor water usage.
- In South Kingstown there is an outdoor water use ban on alternate odd and even days for their South Shore and Middlebridge Water Customers. Customers with an odd number street address may water only on odd number days, while customers with an even number street address may water only on even number days. This water restriction is being enacted to ensure sufficient supply during heavy summertime consumer demand.
