According to police, they clocked the car driven by Lole at 45 miles per hour in a 35 zone on Point Judith Road. A background check revealed that a warrant had been issued for her arrest after she did not appear at a Nov. 17 court hearing for a driving while intoxicated arrest.

A passenger in Lole's car could not drive it from the scene because her license was suspended. Police arranged for a transport to her home in Westerly. Lole's vehicle was parked overnight at a nearby business.

Lole was arraigned at Fourth Division District Court on Tuesday morning and released.

Police Collect Empty Drill Cases

At about 3:35 a.m., police responded to the Mobil station on Point Judith Road after receiving a complaint of a suspicious case.

A clerk at the store said that she just noticed the cases left by a pump on the south side of the station. Police searched the cases, which were for Dewalt tools, and noted that both were empty.

According to police, the tools may have been taken from a construction site and the cases discarded at Mobil. The empty cases were logged in evidence at headquarters.

Police Log Threat from Girlfriend of a Roommate

At about 4:35 p.m., police received a complaint at the station about a URI student, who is the girlfriend of a roommate at a Salem Trail home. Three tenants at the Salem Trail home told police that the girlfriend had threatened to break a person's nose and to "put you in a pink faggot cast."

Police logged the incident in case of future incidents at the request of the Salem Trail tenants.
