Four residents are cited for providing alcohol to a 19-year-old, and a local woman probably wishes she had picked her friends a bit better.

Four URI Students Cited for Providing Alcohol to Minor
Narragansett police issued citations to Paul H. Levine, 20, Evan Robert Schwab, 20, John D. Watson, 20, and Jarek T. Cohen, 20, all of 10 Melville Lane, for violating social host laws.

According to police, on Saturday at 12:15 a.m. they . At that time, they noted Kaitlynn Sanders, 19, of 9 Glocester Road, Narragansett, was leaving the party with a can of Budweiser in her hand. An ID check revealed that she was underage.
After an investigation into the incident, police cited the residents of the house 4 p.m. Tuesday for violating social host laws. All were issued a Dec. 2 municipal court date.Â

Note to Friend: Resident is not a Call Girl
At 9:38 p.m., police responded to a complaint from a resident about her friend in West Warwick. According to the woman, her friend had put her phone number on a dating chat message board and told her she could "meet men and get paid."
Police advised the woman to change her telephone number, and left a message for the friend to contact them regarding the incident.
